Autodesk Inventor Training Session Hosts

Our robotics team hosted a basic Inventor training with an Inventor professional. We invited other teams to claim up to four seats each at the two-session training. Turnout was good, and we hope the session was helpful to all, but especially to the many rookie teams in the area.

FLL Robotics camp for Hispanic and Latino girls in the Woodburn area. The three-day camp increased interest in FLL and in math and science in general. The camp was for eight to twelve year olds, and all volunteers were Spanish/English bilingual. The camp culminated in a presentation (including the robots built) to parents and community members on January 4th.

Our team helped represent FIRST at this highly-publicized Autodesk event. The event was "gallery-style," with media members and politicians looking at different exhibits, one of which was the FIRST exhibit. Our team displayed our Inventor drawings in a slideshow, while other FIRST teams demonstrated the end product with their robot displays.
